Wife; husband & Wife in marriage;
Bible marriage roles are not not not old time American cultural marriage roles. The husband is to teach and train.
The husband is to study and meditate on Gods word, and, so, be respected in the gates. Husbands are to discipline the children
and bring them up in the fear of the lord (Fear of the Lord: preoccupied w/Jesus the Messiah, conversant with the Father and
obedient to the Holy Spirit) and the admonition of the Lord(knowing all the Bible’s “do’s and don’ts”
and ethical studies). The Bible husband is skilled in military, police and legal matters; and teaches this form of justice
and equity to his children and grandchildren.
The wife is to: provide for the financial income; and, promote new business interests; stay active working for the families
interests. The wife is to seek the best clothes and food for her family she can make or afford.
Proverbs 31:10
Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
11
The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
12
She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
13
She seeks wool and flax,
And willingly works with her hands.
14
She is like the merchant ships,
She brings her food from afar.
15
She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants.
16
She considers a field and buys it;
From her profits she plants a vineyard.
17
She girds herself with strength,
And strengthens her arms.
18
She perceives that her merchandise
is good,
And her lamp does not go out by night.
19
She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
And her hand holds the spindle.
20
She extends her hand to the poor,
Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.
21
She is not afraid of snow for her household,
For all her household is clothed with scarlet.
22
She makes tapestry for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23
Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
24
She makes linen garments and sells
them,
And supplies sashes for the merchants.
25
Strength and honor
are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
27
She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29
"Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all."
30
Charm
is deceitful and beauty
is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
31
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.
The divine glue that holds marriage together is sex. God intends there to be too much sex. She
must give it to him whenever he wants it. Likewise he must do the same for her. The godly marriage is too too tired
to cheat on each other. The godly marriage is also too satiated to be driven to adultery by lust.
Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me:1Corinthaians 7:1 It is good for a man not to touch
a woman. 2 Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have
her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her
husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband
does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. 5 Do not deprive one another except with consent
for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because
of your lack of self-control.
