Now we are being repaid for our generousity and selflessness.

merely enslaved but bloodily murdered in the most painful and gruesome ways. Now he languiishes in jail as the
white man who boldly came to free the slaves languished in the hymn, the precursor hymn to the Battle Hymn of the Republic
by which brave Northerners marched into Southern gunfire in compelling witness to their love of their black brothers:
