Long have I given more credence
to the team with the best season record in football and baseball. Officiating is topnotch then. Seemingly officiating
goes to pot at playoff time. Starting with last years heavy hacking, now this: A foul to give at the end.
I say just play the games out and forget the playoffs. Or, at least give equal credence and ballyhoo to the regular
season champ. i.e. give both trophies together and incent them equally. Watch the regular season fun level go
up then. Next year's champ: L.A. Clippers!!
