My how  wasteful,  Aviation is not content negligently to be responsible for 3,000 people incinerated in New York.  Now they have to kill who knows how many thousand birds until the next group fly in.  Each passenger should be made to take delivery of a gassed goose if his trip is so important he can't wait for a train or bus or boat.  Aviation is still monstrously dangerous.  It is not safer to get in a car, for passengers and for people on the ground(they get you at per million passenger miles), and now for the poor bird because they mighty fly in the path of one of these superpolluters who are too cheap with a capital flying HEAP to fit a chickenwire shield in front of their supercharged turbopolluters.
