From Adam to Jesus no easy path to God could be found. Satan’s false religion idolatry, with drugs sex immorality and religion all bound up into one, limited mankind’s lifespan and blinded him to God.

Then Jesus came. Everyone in the spiritual realm knew it was game over now that Jesus came. Find a weaker brigade to surrender to, the Highlanders are here. God’s angels felt the triumph of Jesus’ birth.

His very chromosomes are a throw back to precurser Adam before the fall. A spiritual shock wave reverberated in salute throughout the heavens and their subset, our universe. The angels burst on the night sky scene and appeared to the only people awake, shepherds. They passed in review before the perfect man in baby form and saluted their creator united with that baby forever.

Millions in each generation from adam to Jesus wanted to get closer to God. Only by going to Israel or finding a wandering Jew did they have any hope of learning about God. Even then, the Jews were usually apostate themselves in and out of Israel.

Now the world was embraced by God who will grow up in it and walk among us, know us from within and die(in His humanity) for our sins. Rising up from dead, he gives that new resurrection life to all who believe in Him. He will take the willing Jews and then go out to the nations for His new Holy nation, a kingdom of priests to God, a peculiar people called by His Name.

That is Christmas, the old Judaism impotent, The idol temple now defunct. Jesus our saviour God and man came to save us and make God accessible. Trust in Jesus to save you from your sins and you will be greater than any one who came before Jesus.
