John 1 God's studio production In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him nothing that was made was made. Eternity, Self existence, Partner/Son in the Godhead/Trinity. Creator, Restorer, Essential First Cause of each and every thing, Imagine a playroom or an artist studio, Our universe is on a cabinet shelf. Innocuous though it may seem, God has it under constant observation scrutiny and control. Down to small details like the enumeration appellation for each of our hairs on our head, each one of us. He can play back or forward the expanding developing universe at will. He is eternal, time is his construct, His plaything. So the universe and world we live in is the exact same one he wants for us, the one he came to save us in, to die for us in, to rise anew in and to call us to himself in. When He ascended to Glory with our Father He sent us the Holy Spirit to take His place in our lives in a more profound way than when He Himself bodily dwelt among us. As if to accomplish these ends God exists as a triune Godhead. Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end, amen. To the Son came the job of creation, restoration and prototype death and resurrection life bearer. We all who are His share in what He began. In Him therefore was life and the life is the light of men. That is the true light that lights every man who comes into the world. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, even the Glory of the uniquely Born Son of God the Father, full of Grace and Truth. Incarnation, the angel proposed that "the Holy Spirit would come upon her and the power of the Highest would overshadow the Virgin marry and therefore the Holy one, yet unborn will be called the Son of God." The Blessed Virgin accepted the proposal saying "Behold, the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be unto me according to your Word." The marital union was assented to by Joseph to whom the angel requested, Fear not to take Mary to you as wife. for that which is conceived in her is conceived by the Holy Spirit." Joseph did as the Angel of the Lord (Jesus as God the son in preincarnate theoOf phany) requested. Of His abundance and fullness we have all received, and one Grace blessing after another. Abundantly blest with union with Christ and the indwelling of the triune God. Fully annointed by and filled with the Holy Spirit. Gifted with spiritual gifts and the assurance of our salvation. What a creative and wonderful loving God we serve. I'm glad he went to work in his creativity studio for me and for you.
