Moses sent twelve reconnaissance scouts to gather intelligence for the invasion of Canaan. Two did their job. Ten were so frightened of the enemy that they scared the armies of Israel out of attacking the Canaanites. Jesus was tempted to fear just as the ten traitors were. Jesus can sympathize with us when we are tempted to jump ship from God's Love and abide in the Devil's World instead. Hebr. 12:14 Yet Jesus did not jump ship and stayed in the Father's will constantly. So put your coat back on. Don't turn it to fit in the Kosmos Diabolicus. Take Heart. Let's Go, Boldly, into God's throneroom seeking grace and mercy to help us in time of testing and temptation. Hebr. 12:15. In Faith believing for promised rest abiding in green pasture of God's love, Full of Joy by the still waters. Ps. 23 That is where God can take what we have learned, as we pray in the Filling of the Holy Spirit in Lovecourts 1 and 2, He will guide us and restore us by churning the Spiritual Bible Teaching we have believed until the promises and principles we need in crisis are presented to us in glory as an already believed upon objective spiritual reality. Paul and Silas used gate 3 Singing in jail. Acts 16:25 We can prepare ourselves for God's solutions by singing songs of assent, like "I'll say, yes lord, yes, to your will and to your way, I'll say, yes Lord, Yes, I will trust you and obey, when your spirit speaks to me, with my whole heart I'll agree, and my answer will be, yes Lord! yes!" or a song of assent that you especially enjoy. Gates, like Singing, stabilize our soul: 1. Encouraging Bible Teaching in the lyrics, we recall how we learned spiritual principles, which gave us hope, gate 4, and joy, court 4, when we believed, become our "faith" and "truth," to which positive emotions bond. 2. Impedes carnality, we, being otherwise occupied, won't slip back into fear, worry, bitterness, or other mental sin. We can "abide in my love" 3. That buys time in God's love system for the Holy Spirit to adjust His solution presenting capability to the slow speed at which we can understand. 4. That also prepares us to respond positively to the Holy Spirit as He guides us in the paths of righteousness for Jesus sake and restores our souls. We remember how we believed at gates 3 and 4 and how we thanked God for our newfound "faith" at gate five. Psalm 23, Eph. 5:18, 5. In humility, respecting God the Holy Spirit, in and filling us, we examine objective reality, the Bible teaching we believed that became our "faith," our "truth," that the Holy Spirit presents to us, now in time of crisis, as our solution. A unique plan mixing our own needs and our own "faith." We must again make the decision to trust God, to rely on the "faith" and "truth" in our soul to get through our testing victoriously. This encourages us to persist in God's love. “Abide in my love that your enjoyment may be full.”
