Titus 1:1 Humble Paul, a servant of god sent by Jesus Christ to be in charge of cultivating belief in Bible teaching in
those God has elected to privilege, even Bible teaching seated in our consciousness regarding the doctrine of testing and
proving their maturity, called Godliness, 1:2 this leads to confidence regarding their eternal life which God promised long
ago, and He never fails to keep a promise. 1:3 Eternal life manifested at the right time. I am entrusted to proclaim God’s
Bible doctrine. This is my command from God our saviour. 4. Pros Titan To Titus These early apostolic warriors for Christ
truly were Giants. Converting a whole island. Resisting Jewish heresy and managing selfish lazy populace and church leadership
especially resisting Jewish heresy. It took a Titan. I left you in Crete for two reasons: finish the unfinished work and appoint
church leadership in every city. 1:6-8 Moral requirements of church leaders 9. Leadership should Hold fast to the doctrines
they have believed according to our Bible teaching. 10 Rebels abound: They talk vainly speculating as if you didn’t
teach, they deceive teaching lies, especially the Jews. preaching to the Greeks they should be circumcised. 11 These must
be silenced, because they upset entire families of believers teaching what they shouldn’t for immoral monetary reward.
Titus 1:12&13. Agamemnon, King of Crete, was in a drunken stupor when Paris stole Helen and the Trojan war set in motion,
that plus the minotaur, led to: Cretans are said by their own prophets to be evil beasts, lazy gluttonous liars. Such types
need reproof that they may believe only sound Bible Teaching. 14. Reprove any attention they pay to Jewish myths and human
commands from men who reject Bible Doctrines. Titus 1:15. What is in our heart determines the nature of our world and the
things in it: Lovegates 1 and 2 cleanse us and our surrounds from all unrighteousness. To the unbelieving and defiled, nothing
is pure and cleansed, especially filthy are their minds and consciences. They say they know God, but by their deeds they deny
God. Detestable, disobedient and too worthless to do anything good. Titus 2:1 Pastors should speak only that which befits
sound Bible Doctrine. 2:2-10 Tell the older men to: do all things in moderation, be dignified, be sensible, believe sound
Bible Teaching, abide in God’s love system, perseverer through tests at gate 11. Tell the older women to be: reverent
in behaviour. not to sin with their tongue least of all gossip maliciously, not enslaved to wine, teaching what is good, older
women should teach and encourage the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible(not flighty,
impulsive wastrels or flirtatious), pure(righteous at gate 2), homemakers, kind, subject to their own husbands gate 6, in
this way they will protect God’s Word from dishonor at their fault. Likewise urge tyhe young men to be sensible (not
carousing, womanizing, overdrinking or partying), in all things show yourself (by this it seems Titus is a younger
man) to be an example of good deeds, filled with the holy spirit at gate 2 and teaching Doctrine in fellowship with God and
the body of Christ, be dignified, let your speech be serious and sensible which is beyond reproach. This way your opponents
will be put to shame because there is nothing truthful they can detract us with. Servants(employees) should be humble, at
gate 6, in subjection to their masters(employers) in everything. well pleasing, not argumentative nor stealing, but showing
how good is the Bible teaching they have received and believed, This way they will be an adornment to God’s Bible Doctrine.
11. The grace of God has appeared to all men: slave, free; old, young; men, women. His Grace teaches us to deny ungodliness
and secular pleasure. 12. Grace teaches us to live sensibly with self control, righteously at gate 2 in the love system and
fulfilling gate 11 in the march to maturity in our time on Earth 13. while looking ahead watching for our blessed hope, even
the appearing of our Lord, the glory of our great God and saviour, Jesus Christ. We are to be expecting the any moment now
rapture, the constant comment of Paul from 1 Thessalonians through Titus. The giving of Himself to the cross for us for the
purpose of washing away our antinomian rebellious antiauthoritarion sins and washing away all our unrighteousness with His
own blood so that we might be worthy and pure and righteous enough at gates one and two to be peculiarly His, His and no one
else's His own unique possession. As such we are to be zealous for good deeds (John 3:21) 15. Exhortation and reproof exercise
the full authority of the pastor He is to use these tools to bring about compliance by each of 4 groups in the church. 5:1&2 Humility means subjection and obedience and helping out when a need presents itself. Humility asks we don't malign
others nor be contentious and argumentative, be gentle, show consideration for all men. Why? 5:3 We were also foolish, disobedient
and deceived servants of our differing lusts and pleasures, wasting our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating each other.
The left promoting Hate against Bush and now Palin push each other further from God deeper into sin. We were that: But on
the contrary opposed to that progression into ever deeper sin and death but, but, but when the kindness of God our Saviour
appeared but when his love for all people appeared but then He saved us, , but not on the basis of our righteous deeds earning
our way out of the problem, how could we? hateful sinners we were. but then He saved us because of His mercy. by the washing
of regeneration Our new birth, it is a washing in the blood of Christ and the water of Bible Teaching. Born again delivered
and renewed by the Holy Spirit, 6. Whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour, both the Father and the
Holy Spirit participate together pouring the Holy Spirit on in and over us from heaven. 7. Justified and pronounced pure,
cleansed and righteous by God's Grace, we are bequeathed a noncancellable inheritance accordingly we are confident in our
eternal life and the realization of our inheritance both then and at maturity. 8. You can depend upon this promise. So speak
out stridently and confidently about this bright and joyous hope. Then the believers in Bible teaching will be careful to
engage in good deeds. These are good and profitable for all . 9. But Shun controversies when will they all be raptured, who, et cet., genealogies arguments and disputations about the
Mosaic Law, These all are unprofitable and worthless. 10. Reject a factious divider and rebel after a first and second warning.
11. Such are perverse(Think about the kind of people who oppose gospel efforts), sinning(blaspheming the Holy Spirit, for
instance), and self-condemned(rejecting the only way of salvation, and opposing it). 12. All this to be done in a season,
not years. Truly Titus and his apostolic cohorts were Titans, giants among men. 14. We are to learn, pastors are to let us
learn, to practice divine good deeds to meet pressing needs. God wants us to bear fruit.
