James 2:10 Whoever keeps the old covenant but sins once is guilty under condemnation of the whole old testament. 2:11 Jesus as God, and as incarnate God, said "Do no commit adultery" and "Do not murder." If you don't fornicate but hate your brother having murdered him in your heart or vice versa have looked on a non spouse with lust you have brought the whole old testament of condemnation on your head. 12. So speak and so act as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty. No pride. Grace has been afforded to us as much and no more than both to the rich and the poor. Our sins are as death-worthy as murderers and perverts. Our grace and forgiven-ness requires humility and a forbearance from judging others that we might call mercy. 13. For judgment will be merciless to those who've shown no mercy. Mercy shown triumphs over judgment of our brothers while we are just as guilty of the whole old testament condemnation. 2:14 If we say we have believed in Bible teaching, and it has not changed our conscience, moved our heart, has not been spoken of from our vocabulary and never been contemplated nor integrated with the rest of what we believe; what use is saying we have believed Bible teaching when it has no chance of affecting our thought and action. Can such claimed to exist belief in Bible teaching save a person? Such faith has not reached the point of trust and reliance. 2:15 If our brother/sister has no change of clothes and needy for daily food, 16, even though you may say "go in peace and prosperity and blessing" if you don't supply their bodily needs, What usefulness are you? 17 Shockingly so, belief in Bible teaching is likewise dead, in this useless sense, if it is left alone, and has not changed our conscience, moved our heart, has not been spoken of from our vocabulary and never been contemplated nor integrated with the rest of what we believe; what use is saying we have believed Bible teaching when it has no chance of affecting our thought and action. 18. You will be disappointed if someone says, "You have belief in Bible teaching, and I have a changed conscience, a moved heart, Bible teaching I've spoken of from my vocabulary and contemplated in my heart and integrated with the rest of what I believe, my Bible teaching affects my thought, speech and action. Display to me your believed in Bible teaching that has not changed your conscience, moved your heart, has not been spoken of from your vocabulary and never been contemplated nor integrated with the rest of what you believe that has no chance of affecting your thought and action. You can't. It is impossible. With greater force I will show you my belief in Bible teaching, naturally and powerfully, as you observe: I have a changed conscience, a moved heart, Bible teaching I've spoken of from my vocabulary and contemplated in my heart and integrated with the rest of what I believe, my Bible teaching affects my thought, speech and action. 19.You believe the cornerstone Jewish Bible Teaching Adonai Echad. God is absolutely unique. The demons likewise both believe and shudder at the great God. 20. But, can't you see, dumb ass, Your belief in Bible teaching is useless without letting it change your conscience, move your heart, speaking of Bible Teaching from your vocabulary and never contemplating it nor integrating with the rest of what you believe so that it has no chance of affecting your thought and action. 21. Wasn’t Father Abraham justified by having a changed conscience, a moved heart, Bible teaching he spoke of from his vocabulary and contemplated in his heart and integrated with the rest of what Abraham believed, Abraham’s Bible teaching affected his thought, speech and action. These were the resources Abraham used when he offered Isaac, his son, the son of promise, uniquely and impossibly born Yitzak, Isaac means laughter, the delight of old hearts, on a burnt sacrifice altar? How has our belief in Bible teaching changed our conscience? God ruled Abraham's. Has our Bible teaching moved us in our hearts to put Christ’s demands before the dearest thing to our hearts? Does Bible Teaching show up when we speak?
Have we applied Bible principles to our jobs, hobbies and activities. Do we ever take a few minutes to think about the Bible we learn? The easiest way is to pray a conversational prayer with God. 22. This way belief in Bible teaching is worked by the Holy Spirit into a working belief that changes us from useless to God to fully functional, properly equipped and mature, lacking nothing. Our belief is formed, matured and perfected. 23. This is how we fulfill the scripture “Abraham believed God and God imputed His own righteousness to Abraham.” and we become what Abraham became, Philos Theu, the covenant friend of God. 24. Obviously a man is justified when belief in Bible Teaching is allowed to change his conscience, moved his heart, when he speaks of Bible teaching from his vocabulary and contemplates it in his heart and integrates it with the rest of what he believes, when his Bible teaching affects his thought, speech and action. For if someone merely hears understands, perhaps even assents, but does not act upon Bible teaching, the he is not justified. 25. Jn4:10 Mtt.21:31 Hbr.11:31 Ruth 2:12 Mtt. 1:5 Hosea. Magdalena, Rahab, Woman caught in adultery, Samaritan woman, Miriam, Gomer, Great whore of Babylon, Queen Jezebel, heckler "blessed are the paps, "Mary, mother of Christ" Rahab the church received and sent. Received salvation and sent out apostles and missionaries to new areas a different way, 26. body is reference to the church, church without the Holy Spirit is like the body without a spirit: dead. For if someone merely hears understands, perhaps even assents, but without acting upon Bible teaching, without change of conscience, moving the heart, without speaking of it from vocabulary and never been contemplating nor integrating with the rest of what is believed, without chance of affecting thought and action; that kind of belief is dead. 3 teachers and the tongue of discord v. the wisdom, righteousness and reconciliation into peace. 3:1 What is this heavy judgment destined to fall upon teachers it is said we should not be many of? The body of Christ nay go about in hapless ignorance about heaven, the millenium, The devil and his hordes, who Jesus Christ truly is, what transpired on the cross and how we are saved, our resources and divine plan for Christian living. If the pastor is a teacher and tries to help the church to enlightenment, better they are ignorant than misinformed. God's righteous hammer will try to straighten a bent implement. The pastor is responsible to drive the body of Christ. God has to keep him from driving the church into a light pole or wall. 2, It takes more effort to sin overtly than mentally. It perhaps takes even less effort than either of these to sin verbally. 3. Big horses are easy to control with a small bit. So we follow our speech into errors hitherto unknown. 4. Ships at sea are driven by powerful winds and great engines. Tiny rudders controls their direction. We also as pastors and individuals need to speak carefully guiding the church and ourselves in the right direction. Navigation involves a compass, maps with depth charts, astronomical training, calendar of the sun's changing declination at differing latitudes. Guiding our own and the churches direction in life requires application of Bible Teaching to life's changing circumstances. Wholesale genocide and starvation in obscure unchristian realms may be less pertinent than God reaching out and knocking on a Christian nation's door with unemployment and depressed financial markets. The pastor has to convey God's desire that the church stay on course to glorify God and promote His kingdom and righteousness. The tongue longs to boast and promote arrogance while the spirit seeks to promote God's purpose in humility. The result is discord and jealousy and envy the very things that motivated the persecution of our Lord to the cross by Jewish spiritual leadership. chapter 4. quarrels, discontent, worldliness and pride v. humility v. slandering believers v. boastful arrogance and chapter 5. condemnation of the rich
